About N1 Sports Management Inc
EVERY ATHLETE HAS THEIR OWN EVEREST.
N1 Sports Management was created around a simple belief:
Talent needs opportunity — but potential needs the right people around it.
We provide personalised sports management, representation, mentoring and pathway development for ambitious footballers.
Our Philosophy:
N1 is led by Trevor Johnston, a FIFA Licensed Football Agent whose background combines football, coaching, leadership, education, international development and high-altitude mountaineering.
Trevor is also an OFC C-Licence Coach and New Zealand Football Referee, giving him experience of football from multiple perspectives.
FROM EVEREST TO FOOTBALL
In 1998, Trevor represented South Africa on an expedition to Mt Everest, climbing on the North Face from Tibet. His mountaineering journey has included high-altitude expeditions across six continents. The mountains taught him lessons that remain central to N1:
Preparation matters.
Character matters.
Resilience matters.
Decision-making matters.
The people around you matter.
Football is no different.
Talent may get you noticed.
What happens next depends on the decisions you make, the work you put in and the people you choose to have around you.
THE N1 PHILOSOPHY
PERSON BEFORE PLAYER: We want to understand who you are — not simply what position you play.
PATHWAY BEFORE PROMISES: We believe in realistic career planning and honest conversations.
RELATIONSHIPS BEFORE TRANSACTIONS: Successful representation is built on trust between players, families, coaches, clubs and agents.
POTENTIAL WITH PURPOSE: Football is an important part of your journey — but so are education, personal development and life beyond the game.
